Vote on a project or suggest a new one
With so many challenges in the community. From high cost of living, broken infrastructure, homelessness and crime, many easily fixed problems sometimes slip through the cracks. We want your help in prioritising projects which matter most to you. Simply select a project and vote via your investment and we'll focus funding initiatives in the areas which you care most about.
Invest in a project
As an environmentally conscious company, we aim to keep our carbon footprint low. If you're able to sponsor a venue to assist in our creative events that would be awesome! Sponsorship options are also available if you require. But sponsorship activities do not qualify for Section 18A receipts.

Our Neighbourhood is an open platform for community projects. Bootstrapping, communicating and coordinating of ideas, plans and activities.
Established 2019 as a self-funded NPO, in 2025 we're "almost" a self-sustainable public benefit organisation. Many of our current initiatives lack equipment to complete. But there is no shortage of volunteers and job seekers who have joined in our mission to rethink what work should be.
As a resident of Florida Roodepoort, I've noticed the communication gap between municipality and residents. With municipality being inundated with multiple requests, some issues will remain under the radar. The need for transparency within community projects is essential in rebuilding trust across groups.
I believe there is a need for community platforms for members who want to do what they can with what they have, where they are. (I am not affilated to any political agendas just a resident who believes we can design our areas better for everyone).
